Unit 12 You’re a lion.

 

Period 1

Teaching aims:

  1. Can understand and say words a lion, a bird, a monkey, a dog and imitate the sounds roar, tweet, chatter, bark.

  1. Tell Ss should protect animals, live with animals friendly.

Teaching procedure:

Step 1 Warming up

  1. Greeting.

 

  1. Listen and sing the song Old MacDonald.

 

Step 2 Presentation and drill

  1. Game: Quick response.

 

2. Show the word card a lion.

  Ss: What’s this in English, Miss Ou?

  T: It’s a lion.

  Show the picture, paste the card and picture on the board, guide to read word lion, a lion. It’s a lion.

3. Use the same method to teach words a dog, a monkey, a bird.

 

4. Game: Listen and pat words.
