 Step 1 Revision

    T: There are many interesting places in China. Can you read?

T: Did you go to the Great Wall for the holiday?

S1: Yes, I did.

T: How was your holiday?

S1: It was fun.

T and ss talk about the places they went for the holiday.

Step 2 Free talk

    T: Look, there are many beautiful places in China. Let’s go and have a look.

Ss: Great!

T: This is the Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum.

      It’s in Xi’an. There are many terra-cotta warriors and

      horses.

T: Do you want to go there?

Ss: Yes, we do.

T: This is Shanghai. It’s the Oriental Pearl Tower.

  It’s tall and beautiful.

Step 3 Ask and answer

T: We saw many pictures just now. Can you say something about your holiday?

S1: I went to Nanjing.

T: What did you see?

S1: I saw…

T: What else did you do?

S1: I went to…

T: Did you go to Xi’an?

S1: Yes, I did. / No, I didn’t.
