摘要：Herein disclosed is a nucleic acid amplification method comprising the steps of(a) providing a support comprising a plurality of interconnected first cavities; (b)contacting said support with reagents for carrying out an amplification reaction; (c)contacting said support with a sample of nucleic acids; and (d) carrying out the nucleicacid amplification reaction in said first cavities; wherein all or at least a fraction of theinterconnections reduce or prevent a convective flow between the first cavities duringamplification. Further disclosed are a support, a kit and their use for carrying out saidmethod.
