摘要：A wire, especially a copper wire with a core wire of silver, the contact zone ofthe wires being consolidated by diffusion processes, is to be obtained with improvedbonding and/or higher adhesive strength between the two materials, for use in
contraceptive devices having a higher clinical activity in intrauterine pessaries. Accordingto the invention, the two materials forming the wire, copper and silver, are additionallyinterannealed in vacuo at a temperature of 550 DEG C for 35 minutes each time duringseveral successive drawing stages. At the end of the overall drawing process,recrystallisation annealing is also carried out in vacuo for the same time, but at atemperature of only 450 DEG C.
