摘要：Techniques and compositions are described for reflective coatings and
pigments for reflecting electromagnetic radiation, such as visible and solar near-infraredlight. In one aspect, a reflective coating includes a base layer having a reflective surface,
and an absorber layer formed on the reflective surface of the base layer, in which thereflective coating provides an average reflectance of electromagnetic radiation forwavelengths in the range of 900 nm to 2500 nm irradiated upon the reflective coatinggreater than substantially 70%, and provides an average reflectance of electromagneticradiation for wavelengths in the range of 400 nm to 700 nm irradiated upon the reflectivecoating of less than 40%.
