Thedocking station (104) comprises means for storing at least one authorized cassetteidentifier and at least one authorized user identifier, an input device (140) for receiving auser identifier, a cassette identifier, and a function identifier, and a controller (500B) forcoupling said cassette (102) dependent upon said cassette identifier and said at least oneauthorized cassette identifier, validating a received user identifier and a received cassetteidentifier based upon said at least one authorized user identifier and said at least oneauthorized cassette identifier, operating said locking mechanism (112) based upon areceived function identifier and said validation, and uncoupling said cassette (102)dependent upon said validation.
