摘要：A communication cable is provided with a plurality of twisted pairs of
conductors and a matrix tape having conductive segments separated by gaps. Thedimensions of the conductive segments are selected to reduce the undesirable couplingof signals between adjacent cables. An insulating layer may be provided between thetwisted pairs of conductors and the matrix tape. In some embodiments, the insulatinglayer is an embossed or perforated film. The use of an embossed or perforated filmdecreases the dielectric constant of the insulating layer.
