模块教材分析
本模块是外语教学与研究出版社新标准英语(三年级起点)五年级下册第二模块的学习内容。Unit1 She learnt English.主要通过萨姆、艾米、玲玲三人谈论照片中玲玲的祖父母,使学生初步了解一般过去时与现在进行时的不同。Unit2 Mr Li was a teacher.主要谈论人物过去和现在做的事情,并让学生了解时态的变化。在学习了第一模块的一般过去时后,本模块就一般过去时态和现在进行时态进行对比学习,这样,不仅承接了上一模块的重点知识,而且还降低了两种时态学习的难度,起到了承上启下的作用。
模块教学目标
1.知识目标
(1)学生能够听、说、认读单词:learnt,taught,language,wrote,dancer,foreign,studied,hard。 (2)学生能够听、说、认读并会用句型: She learnt English. She was a dancer.
She danced in lots of Chinese cities. Did she learn any foreign languages? Yes, she learnt English. He is learning English now.
Mr Li was a teacher. He taught Chinese.
Chen Hai is an English teacher. he's teaching Mr Li. 2.能力目标
(1)能用英语来询问和描述过去所发生的事情以及他人过去和现在的状态。
(2)掌握一般过去时态与现在进行时态的意义及它们的区别。 3.情感态度目标
(1)激发学生的学习热情,进行文明礼仪教育,感染学生,对其进行中华美德—孝顺长辈的教育。
(2)教育学生要珍惜时光,认真充实地度过每一天,更要尊敬师长。 4.文化意识目标
了解英国人的生活习惯,体会中西方人们在生活习惯中的异同之处。
5.学习策略目标
(1)通过听录音感知对话内容,学会捕捉文中重要信息。
(2)通过观察分析,让学生明确一般现在时和现在进行时的不同。
(3)增强学生对所学英语的体验,形成正确的交际策略,提高他们用英语做事情的能力。

She danced in lost of Chinese cities. ——Did she learn any foreign languages? ——Yes,she learnt English. But he’s leaning Enlish now.

重点:新单词和新句型的教学与运用。
难点:“foreign languages”的读音教学。

教学目标
1.学生能够听、说、认读并会用句型:

2.能根据情境正确使用所学句型谈论过去和现在的事情并学会进行比较。
重点难点
重点:新句型的综合复习和运用. 难点:一般过去时态不同句式的运用. 教学准备

2. Talk about the dialogue in Activity 2.
Ask the students to talk about it. Then act it out. Step 2 Revision
T: What did Lingling's grandparents do many years ago? Watch the video carefully(观看带字幕的动画) and try to act It the dialogue. Step 3 Presentation
1. Ask students to look at the pictures and act out the diagues.
E.g. A: Did she make a cake yesterday? B: No, she didn't
C: She didn't make a cake yesterday. 2. T: How about you?

1.听P11-2录音,解决下列问题:
预习提纲:(给学生5分钟的时间,小组讨论,完成下列任务。) (1)画出新单词。 (2)画出动词过去式 (3)了解课文大意。
2.根据预习,逐一解决问题 (1)学习新单词:
学习 studied,hard时,做出动作帮助学生学习,印象深刻。 (2)整理动词过去式: is –was learn–learnt like–liked teach-taught study-studied
让学生一边整理动词过去式,一边说短语。 Step 4 Practie

1.音标教学:字母组合aw,air,ass的发音规则 2.培养学生听、说、读、写、做的能力。
3.用一般过去时和现在进行时谈论发生的事情。
重点难点
重点:能够在实际生活中灵活地运用本课的词汇和句型谈论某人过去和现在的情况和活动。
难点:了解并掌握字母组合在单词中的发音规律。 教学准备

Step 2 Presentation Listen and say.
1.游戏:听音标竞赛。(此游戏能很好地调动学生学习音标的积极性。) 这是一个训练学生听音标的游戏,教师准备两套音标卡片,并将全班分成两组,每人发一张卡片,教师快速念音标,持有该音标卡片的学生应迅速站起来,最先站起来的人得两分,后站出来的得一分,没站出来的得零分,得分多的组获胜。
2.学生看书,仔细听录音,思考字母组合aw,a1r,ass发了什么音。教师
把音标板书出来,并且教读,如果时间充足,可以拓展更多的单词练习,如果时间不足,练习就放在下节课的复习课上进行。 Step 3 Practice

设计意图:作业设计照顾到不同层次的学生,让每个学生两套音标卡片,能使自己的能力水平得到不同程度提高。
